Business Resiliency Planning

Many different areas can impact a business’ ability to continue operations. Business Resiliency (BR) Planning is the coordination of Security Initiatives, Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BC), other B2B / B2C relationships, and Life Continuity (LC). Bringing these together in a combined plan gives you / the business owner the ability to plan for a variety of unexpected events. Each area ties to each other through common processes or by regulations and standards.

Security encompasses the areas of policies, compliance, technical, physical, and personnel / personal items. The DR and BC areas include the areas of insurance, IT, document management, recovery, continuity, and BIA planning. These three areas are also evaluated as they relate to B2B and B2C relationships. The LC area is the personal application of Security, DR, and BC areas to a personal life.
